This morning I got up and went to the gym with my two oldest kids.
We planned to go last night, but I almost backed out at the last minute. They pulled me back in. That is the power of community and it will change your life.
A "community" can be found with your kids, husband, sister, neighbor, or co-worker. You can share the same house with them or they could live across the country.
I have built community into my lifestyle for 20 years, and it has kept me alive and growing in my 20s, 30s, and 40s. I have made new friends, tried new things, and improved myself in ways I otherwise never would have.
Everyone who wants to thrive and move past the Jan-Feb health push needs community in order to last. I call it being a part of a Tribe.
Reason #1: Lift - People's words and actions put wind in your sails.
Reason #2: Stories - Getting caught in a story with others is powerful.
Reason #3: Shortcut - Drafting on others' motivation is a good thing.

Reason #5: Accountability - Obligation to others makes you say yes.
Having a goal (no matter if it's for your physical health, family, mind, or business) is only as good as the system you put in place. A community of people is a built-in system that creates the lifestyle you want and need!
