There is a frequent conversation that happens in my house every week, and it goes like this...
Mom: "Hey, what time is Maye's game tonight?"
Dad: "I don't know, you can check the calendar."
Mom: "Can you remind me what night we are going to your parents?"
Dad: "Babe, I think it's Sunday, but you can check the calendar."
Dad: "What days are you filming this week and with who again?"
Mom: "Ha, ha! You should just check the calendar!"
The past few weeks we've all made some promises to ourselves and we've probably only seen marginal change. The reason that happens is because our mind is either in constant dream mode, task mode, or down right survival mode 😜
True change happens when we move something from our mind to our schedule. The reason this works is because even putting something in your calendar feels like a commitment, which can be scary!
When it comes to your health, your dreams and goals are only limited by the amount of space they take up in your calendar 📅
You might say you can't find the time or you don't think you can sustain that level of commitment to a routine. Instead think of it this way:
When you put a health goal on your schedule, you aren't committing to a month or a year. You are simply introducing your dream to the calendar so they can be friends 👥
