Life's High's and Low'sHi Reader, I’ve been reflecting a lot lately—and if I’m honest, there’s been a quiet heaviness I’ve been carrying. April marks six years since I made one of the hardest decisions of my life: setting a boundary with my dad, who raised me in a home where health and control often walked a fine line. While I’m deeply thankful for the way it shaped my passion for fitness, this month always stirs up a complicated mix of grief, strength, and growth. Add to that…
And yet...
I'm in a new mom-and-life era. I'm learning to allow the good graces of this life to keep me going. It's also why I created my website and app—to put something good, joyful and impactful into the world. I live to make fitness feel enjoyable, attainable, and truly effective for women like us. Because life is a lot. We carry so much and need hope and purpose to keep going every day. What Are You Carrying? 👜Today, I'm asking you something personal... what feels heavy right now?
To ask it another way ... where are you feeling the pains of life right now? Do any of these statements resonate? 1. “I feel like I’ve lost myself.”Maybe your kids needed all of you. But now—it’s your turn. 15 minutes of movement can reconnect you with you again. 2. “My hormones are all over the place.”Maybe your body’s changing—but that doesn’t mean you’re powerless. Exercise is one of the most effective natural tools to help with being 'hormotional'. {thank you Jen Hatmaker) 3. “I’m doing everything for everyone.”Maybe you care for everyone else—what if movement was your way of caring for yourself?” 4. “I want to feel strong in my body again.”Maybe strength is more than muscle. It’s knowing you’re capable, resilient, and grounded. Let's build it back together—inside and out.” 5. “I feel invisible.”You're not invisible, you just keep telling yourself you are. You’re seen, celebrated, and encouraged. Movement is your daily reminder that you matter. 6. “I can’t stay consistent.”It’s not about willpower. It’s about a plan that fits you. No guilt, just real support and easy wins that add up.” I’ve learned to let movement be my medicine. That’s what I’ve built inside my fitness app and website. Not just workouts—but a space for women who are carrying a lot to move through life with strength, joy, and grace. I’d love to hear your story, truly. If you're willing, just leave a comment or send me a quick message. I read every single one. You can just hit “reply” and let me know. No judgment. Just me, a 48-year-old woman doing her best, and hoping to connect with more of you. We weren’t meant to carry it all alone. With love and strength, |

Hi friend, I just got back from the most beautiful long weekend at the lake with my family and lifelong friends—lots of laughter, sunshine, wake surfing (not me), and late-night talks. Moments like that fill my heart and remind me how movement, connection, and rest all go hand-in-hand. Now… we’re back. And it’s the official start of the 21-Day SHRED! If you’re jumping in—amazing! Let’s go! The rest of the July calendar is planned out and ready for you to press play and sweat. If you need a...
Hi friend, I’ll be the first to say it… I’ve been quiet in your inbox. 🫠 😶 Between moving my college kids, moving my mom, filming workouts, chasing farm dogs and running a small business, life has felt like a whirlwind lately. If your summer has been full and fast too — I see you. As women we press on. No matter if you're swamped with kids home from school or have a full plate at work, let's keep our mental and physical health something we fight for. Here’s what’s fresh from me to you for...
💕 Grace, Rhythm & Support 💕 Of all the opportunities I've had the past 48 years, being a mom has been my favorite. More than any trip or friendship. Greater than any creative endeavor or business idea. I've loved being a mom the most. I remember how crazy May is for most every mom out there. In my family we have Mother's Day (today), my anniversary (tomorrow), my daughter's birthday in 2 weeks and my husbands birthday 5 days after that. Throw in school parties, sports schedules and some...
