What we all need halfway through 2022

Summer Emotional Check-In

Can you believe we are 1/3 way through summer break? To put it in a positive light, we still have 2/3 of the summer season ahead and we can do so much with this time we have 🤩

I know each situation is different, but for me it seems my kids have been home forever, but I've also barely seen them somehow.

I'm trying to soak up all the time I can with them. I know for some of you though, you've had enough of your kids by 10am every day because you've been up since 5am 😵

It's tough to remember as women that we need to live within our limits. It's even more true that our weaknesses are simply areas where we need to allow others to help us.

I want to offer you the opportunity for a quick self check-in here at the midway point of the year.

It's so easy to skip moments like this and focus on the next fire that needs to be put out. Instead, why not take 10-30 minutes one morning or lunch this week and write down your reflections?

It might even change the course of the next 6 months or more!

Three Questions to Ask Yourself Mid-Year

  1. Start: What needs increase in priority in the next 2 months?
  2. Stop: What should I quit that I know is unhealthy?
  3. Sustain: What do I need to feel proud of as a positive action or attitude that I've been doing lately?

If you want to go more in-depth, you can always work though the Honest Health Assessment that I've put together to help women like you.

The goal is to stop for 30 minutes and look purposefully into the different areas of our overall health: Exercise, Rest, Food, Mindset, Habits, & Relationships.

If you download the guide and work through it, will you please tag me on social media, send me a DM, post in our Tribe Community or reply back to an email?

I'd love to hear what your takeaways were. We all need to know what other women are learning. That's why it takes a Tribe!

🍁 Hello Friends, Happy October 🍁 It's taken me longer this year to get my bearings on this season than most school years. Maybe it's because for the first time in forever I'm not driving to drop off or pick up a kiddo! Or participating in any after school activities. W E I R D! I now sit here in October wondering who am I? My role as a women and as a mom has changed once again. Sometimes new eras are so wonderful and other times so challenging and confusing! Time for some vulnerable honesty...

We CAN do hard things! Would you believe public speaking scares me to death! I can lead a 300 person group fitness class easy peasy, but stand in one spot, just talking to an open room of strangers without doing squats!!? I faint!!! 😨 My friend Karen Shields asked me to speak to a group of college girls at Arkansas State a few months ago. I had four months to prep and mentally prepare, but sadly I showed up with a canker sore and big nerves. I had a huge relief when it was over but I also...
